Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy statement, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting Us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Data Storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of a simplified purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing, the website operator stores the IP data of the connection owner using cookies, as well as name, address and — if applicable — credit card number of the purchaser.

In addition, the following data is stored with us for the purpose of contract processing: name, address, phone number. The data you provide is necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you.

Data is not transferred to third parties, except for the transfer of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company commissioned by us for delivery of the goods, and to our tax advisor to meet our tax obligations.

If the purchase process is canceled, the data stored with us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years).

The data: name, address, purchased goods/services, and purchase/execution date will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG and Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website does not use cookies.

Web Analytics

Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by users is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (Link).

You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement with the provider.

Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision by the European Commission. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG and Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offering and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.

User data is stored for a period of 6 months.

Mailing List

You have the option to inscribe yourself into our mailing list via our website. For this, we need your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

You can cancel your mailing list subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following email address: office@ferry.solutions. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the mailing list distribution.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent, and object. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
